When i arrived Korea i was excited as well nervous; the subway, the buses, the everything scared the hell out of me. It was the first time that i was leaving my home country to go to another all by myself. I was dying of nervous but so happy to be independent! (haha, i was 21, please understand).
I stayed here for two weeks, i think it's pretty good and well located, a little pricey for me but okay (excuse my finger) :)

I knew that my other mexican friend arrived two weeks before me so i met her the second day i arrived (i called it the first day because the real first day i just arrived to my hostel and went to bed directly, i was tired). She was with a german guy and i had to take the subway to her station, i was in Sookmyung University Station (Line 4) and they were at Mapo-gu Office (Line 6) and i arrived safely! (45 minutes later than the time we decided because i got lost, as usual hehehe).
Anyways, we went that day to Myeondong! (Line 4) If you want to shop that's the place!!
You can find everything you want; from phone cases, makeup, food, to famous brand shops, electronics, cinema, and more!
You can see your favorite k-pop groups promoting different brands, like this makeup brand with SHINee!
Street food is the best!
Can we talk about desserts? because seriously, korean desserts are the best! like this bread in fish form with ice cream inside, delicious <3
To go there just go to Myeondong Station and go by the underground mall in the subway and you'll see the exit to Myeondong really easily. You can find pretty cool things in the underground mall, mostly clothes.
Because it was still early, we decided to go to the N Tower, plus it was really near from Myeondong so we just walk like 15 minutes and we arrived there. There are two ways of going, one is going by walking, it takes like 15 minutes and its all stairs to go there (it's a tower, of course you have to go up!), and the other way (the one we choose), or as everybody called it the "short way"haha, we payed 9,000 won for the round trip and we went by the cable way (now that i think about that it was pretty expensive, but anyways we did it). Once we were there i start to remember all the dramas that were recorded there, a lot of things happened there! hahaha
That's the view from the cableway, sorry for the blurry picture but we were a lot of people in a not so quite big car.
The N Tower: cool! It was a hot day that day and we were sooo tired that we just stayed there sitting on a bench.
There are a lot of padlocks along the tower. You can buy them at the store that it's at the tower or bring your own and lock it to the tower so you and your lover can lock their love so that way it will last forever. Romantic, huh?
Of course there are many couples all the time, it's like the perfect place to go with your love (actually i think all South Korea is made for couples, but i will talk about it later in another post)
Okay so the main reason we went to the tower was because of the amazing view you have from the city! Seriously i think it's the best, especially at night, as you can see here:
I'm still in love with that view, aren't you? :)
Okay so we stayed like half an hour more sitting around a little pagoda where kids were playing and we talked and talked and talked till we decide to go.
So yea, that's how my first day of being in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, went. Here's a view of the N Tower from my hostel:
It's good to blog, it keeps my mind away from overthinking, i like that.
